As part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to fostering an integrated university environment that supports students academically, psychologically, and educationally, and under the directives of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Assist. Prof. Dr. Ali Shakir Majdi, the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit held a coordination meeting chaired by the Head of the Unit, Ms. Raghda Safaa, with the participation of the heads of psychological counseling and educational guidance committees from the academic departments. The meeting took place at the Office of the Vice Dean for Scientific Affairs. The meeting focused on unifying counseling mechanisms across the academic departments and organizing procedures for planning, implementing, and documenting awareness-raising activities. These efforts aim to ensure the continuity and diversity of such initiatives while addressing students’ psychological, educational, and social needs. The meeting also addressed ways to strengthen joint coordination and follow-up mechanisms, emphasizing the importance of documenting activities, preparing related news reports, and publishing them through officially approved platforms to expand awareness and enhance their impact within the university community. This initiative reflects the College of Engineering Deanship’s commitment to establishing psychological counseling and educational guidance as essential pillars of a supportive and motivating learning environment. It aims to develop students’ awareness and strengthen their sense of responsibility and belonging, in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-Being) and Goal 4 (Quality Education).
