Al-Mustaqbal University Participates in an International Virtual Workshop on the Internationalization of Higher Education and Its Challenges As part of its strategic direction to strengthen its international presence and expand academic partnerships, Al-Mustaqbal University participated in an international virtual workshop organized by the Eurasian Universities Union (EURAS). The event featured the participation of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın—President of Istanbul Aydın University and President of EURAS—alongside a large number of university presidents, experts, and academics from various educational institutions. Representing Al-Mustaqbal University on behalf of its President, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, was Prof. Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision. During his intervention, he highlighted the university’s key initiatives regarding the internationalization of higher education, its efforts to broaden international academic partnerships, foster research collaboration, and engage with global educational institutions. The presentation also addressed the primary challenges facing the internationalization of higher education from the university’s perspective. Prof. Dr. Al-Zuhairi emphasized the importance of exchanging international expertise and experiences, as well as developing mechanisms for joint cooperation—all of which contribute to enhancing the quality of education and scientific research, while bolstering the international standing of universities.
