Al-Mustaqbal University Hosts a Training Workshop on the Electronic Questionnaire Platform Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, and supervised by the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Abbas Abd Ali Al-Bawi, the University’s Measurement and Evaluation Unit held an in-person training workshop titled "The Electronic Questionnaire Platform at Al-Mustaqbal University." The workshop was attended by staff members responsible for measurement, evaluation, quality assurance, and website management across the university’s various faculties, departments, and units. This workshop reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to enhancing institutional operational mechanisms, promoting the use of digital technologies for data collection and analysis, and advancing measurement and evaluation processes. These efforts are intended to support evidence-based decision-making—grounded in specific results and indicators—and to drive continuous improvement in both academic and administrative performance. The workshop was conducted by Prof. Dr. Saad Fathallah Al-Alim, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit, alongside Assistant Lecturers Mohammed Maitham and Noor Thamir Mahmoud. The session covered several key topics, including the importance of questionnaires, the university’s electronic questionnaire platform, and how to utilize the platform to design, present, and distribute surveys to target groups. Furthermore, the facilitators explained methods for analyzing results and leveraging them to support evaluation processes and enhance institutional performance. Professor Dr. Saad Fathallah Al-Alem, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit, opened the technical segment of the workshop by introducing questionnaires—a primary tool for gathering data and information from target groups. He highlighted their role in identifying opinions, attitudes, and satisfaction levels, while providing indicators that assist in performance assessment, the identification of strengths, and the discovery of opportunities for improvement. Furthermore, he explored methods for analyzing questionnaires to derive findings and statistical indicators. He also covered the process of drafting comprehensive reports based on these results, which includes presenting, discussing, and interpreting the data, formulating conclusions and recommendations, and establishing practical mechanisms for improvement based on the available evidence. He emphasized the importance of these stages in supporting the measurement and evaluation system within the educational process, assessing the quality of educational outcomes, and enhancing the effectiveness of evidence-based development decisions. For his part, Assistant Lecturer Mohammed Maitham, from the Technology Incubator Department, provided a practical demonstration of the electronic questionnaire platform at Al-Mustaqbal University. He explained the platform’s features and how to navigate it, as well as the steps for building an electronic questionnaire—from drafting questions to organizing sections in alignment with specific measurement objectives and the needs of the target audience. He also clarified the procedures for administering questionnaires, collecting responses, and generating reports and data. Additionally, he highlighted practical aspects that enable users to leverage the platform’s capabilities to streamline workflows, reduce the time and effort required to conduct surveys, improve the accuracy of data organization, and ensure that data is readily available for analysis and report preparation. The workshop also highlighted the importance of integrating the methodological and statistical aspects of questionnaires with the technical capabilities provided by the online platform. This integration ensures a transition from mere data collection to the analysis and interpretation of data, ultimately leveraging the findings to formulate recommendations and implement corrective and developmental measures. Such integration enhances the ability of colleges and administrative units to monitor performance indicators, measure stakeholder satisfaction, identify actual needs, and track the implementation of improvement plans with greater efficiency and effectiveness. The workshop was aimed at college-level assessment and evaluation officers, quality assurance personnel, and those authorized to manage websites across colleges, departments, and units. Its objective was to develop their skills in using the platform and to standardize procedures for designing, administering, and extracting results from questionnaires—thereby supporting the advancement of institutional practices and fostering a culture of quality and continuous evaluation within the university. This workshop is part of a series of training activities organized by Future University to develop the capabilities of its academic and administrative staff, keep pace with the digital transformation in higher education, and enhance the efficiency of electronic systems that support quality and institutional accreditation—all in alignment with the university’s vision of achieving excellence, innovation, and sustainability.
