Prof. Dr. Ali Shakir Majdi, extends its sincere congratulations and best wishes to faculty member Ali Wathiq Hadi Al-Maamouri on the occasion of obtaining his Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from Sahand University of Technology in the Islamic Republic of Iran, for his thesis entitled: “Simulation Study of Scale Formation and Its Impact on Well Productivity During Smart Water Flooding in Carbonate Reservoirs Using CMG Software” The thesis investigated mineral scale formation and its impact on oil well productivity during smart water flooding operations in carbonate reservoirs. The research employed numerical simulation using CMG software to address significant challenges related to flow assurance and improving the efficiency of petroleum reservoir exploitation. This academic achievement reflects the ongoing development of the research capabilities and specialized expertise of academic staff, in alignment with Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to advancing academic qualifications and supporting applied research in engineering disciplines.
