The Department of Architecture at Al-Mustaqbal University organized an awareness campaign entitled “Design for Everyone: Accessibility for People with Disabilities in Buildings.” The campaign aimed to raise awareness of the importance of inclusive architectural design that ensures ease of access and movement for all members of society. The campaign highlighted the importance of providing ramps, accessible entrances, elevators, well-designed corridors, and clear directional signage to eliminate architectural barriers, promote the independence of people with disabilities, and create a safe and inclusive built environment for everyone. This initiative reflects the Department of Architecture’s commitment to promoting awareness of inclusive design principles and encouraging the development of accessible architectural environments that meet the needs of all members of society.
