The Department of Architecture at Al-Mustaqbal University organized an awareness lecture entitled “Studying Architectural Engineering and Its Role in Society.” The lecture aimed to highlight the importance of architectural engineering and its role in developing the built environment and improving quality of life, as well as introducing the responsibilities of architects in designing sustainable buildings and achieving a balance between aesthetic, functional, and environmental aspects. The lecture addressed the importance of architectural engineering in modern urban planning and the design of built environments that meet society’s needs. It also emphasized the role of sustainable architecture in conserving environmental resources and achieving sustainable development. This lecture is part of the awareness-raising and academic activities organized by the Department of Architecture at Al-Mustaqbal University to enhance students’ architectural awareness, develop their intellectual and creative abilities, and strengthen their understanding of the architect’s role in building a more sustainable urban future.
