The Department of Medical Physics at the College of Science, Almustaqbal University, organized an awareness workshop on October 7, 2026, entitled “Dog Licking and Its Potential Health Risks to Humans.” Presented by Assistant Lecturer Kareem Handool, the workshop aimed to promote health awareness and highlight the importance of safe animal handling. The workshop highlighted the potential health risks associated with exposure to dog saliva, emphasizing personal hygiene and responsible interaction with animals. It also addressed preventive practices that help protect individual health and safety. This workshop forms part of the Department of Medical Physics’s efforts to promote health education and community awareness, supporting Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being.
