As part of its efforts to enhance digital security awareness, students of the Cybersecurity Engineering Technology Department at Al-Mustaqbal University conducted an awareness activity addressing the risks of suspicious links and methods of protection against electronic phishing. The activity highlighted ways to verify links before opening them and safe browsing practices to avoid digital threats. It aimed to promote safe internet usage and strengthen students’ skills in protecting data and information, in alignment with SDG 4: Quality Education, by promoting digital knowledge, and SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, by raising awareness of cybercrime risks and preventive measures. Al-Mustaqbal University continues its efforts to promote a culture of digital safety, maintaining its position as the number one university among private universities in Iraq.
