As part of its ongoing efforts to expand academic cooperation and strengthen engagement with regional and international educational institutions, Al-Mustaqbal University participated with an official delegation in the 15th International Conference on Educational Studies and Applied Linguistics (VESAL 2026), organized by Tishk International University in Erbil. The conference brought together distinguished academic leaders, researchers, and specialists in education and applied linguistics. The conference was attended by the Minister of Education of the Kurdistan Region, Mr. Alan Hama Saeed; the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Tishk International University, Prof. Dr. Idris Hadi Saleh; and the President of Tishk International University, Prof. Dr. Sultan Abu Orabi, alongside representatives of higher education institutions, experts, and academics. Discussions focused on emerging educational trends, scientific developments, and the exchange of academic knowledge and experiences. Al-Mustaqbal University was represented by Prof. Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, on behalf of the University President, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, together with Prof. Dr. Tariq Jawad Kazim, Director of the Scientific Affairs Department. This participation reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s vision of strengthening its presence at international academic events, establishing effective academic partnerships, exchanging research and educational expertise, and exploring opportunities for joint cooperation. It also highlights the university’s commitment to advancing innovative educational practices in line with global developments in higher education. Furthermore, the participation supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by promoting knowledge exchange, institutional cooperation, and the expansion of academic and research partnerships at regional and international levels.
