The Department of Cybersecurity Engineering Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University announces the launch of the first edition of the Engineering Technical College Hackathon 2026, running from October 22, 2026, to December 20, 2026. This scientific initiative aims to discover students’ creative talents, develop their engineering and technical skills, and transform innovative ideas into practical projects that provide real-world solutions to societal challenges. The hackathon features six main tracks: Artificial Intelligence, Energy and Sustainability, Drones and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, Cybersecurity, Communications and Smart Technologies, and Climate and Environment. It will proceed through several stages, beginning with registration and the official launch, followed by idea development and project implementation, and concluding with project evaluation, finalist selection, and the announcement of winners. This hackathon represents a valuable opportunity for students of the department to engage in innovation, strengthen teamwork, and develop technological solutions that serve the community and keep pace with technological advancements.
