As biomedical engineering begins with understanding the human body, the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the College of Engineering, Al-Mustaqbal University, continues to organize practical scientific workshops in line with the vision of the University President, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, and under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Assist. Prof. Dr. Ali Shakir Majdi. The workshops covered a range of topics, from exploring the structural and functional characteristics of human bones to understanding electrocardiography (ECG) techniques and interpreting cardiac electrical signals. With the participation of Eng. Mohammed Abdul Kareem Razoqi and Eng. Zainab Ali Jabr, these educational activities provided students with valuable opportunities to connect theoretical knowledge with real-world applications in their field of specialization. These activities reflect the College’s vision of preparing engineers who combine scientific understanding with practical skills and contribute to the advancement of healthcare technologies, supporting Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and Goal 4 (Quality Education).
