At a stage that requires coordinated efforts and a unified vision, the Dean of the College of Engineering at Al-Mustaqbal University, Assist. Prof. Dr. Ali Shakir Majdi, chaired an extraordinary meeting attended by heads of academic departments and their coordinators to discuss preparations for the upcoming student registration period, in implementation of the directives of the University President, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi. The promotion and introduction of engineering specializations topped the meeting’s agenda. Emphasis was placed on strengthening the academic departments’ field and media presence and utilizing academic and student activities to highlight the College’s capabilities, educational outcomes, and graduates’ career opportunities. The meeting also addressed the importance of preparing a welcoming environment that enables prospective students and their parents to learn about academic programs and select the most suitable specialization. Discussions also covered the organization of scientific activities, monitoring teaching workloads, fulfilling quality assurance requirements, and strengthening coordination between the College Deanship and academic departments to ensure smooth operations and effective institutional performance. The Dean stressed the importance of moving from planning to practical implementation and unifying efforts to present an image that reflects the academic standing of the College of Engineering. He further emphasized that the next phase requires active engagement and distinguished initiatives from all departments. The meeting supports Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) and contributes to strengthening a university environment that combines high-quality education, effective organization, and institutional communication.
