In an initiative that combines environmental awareness with a strong sense of social responsibility, Mohammed Ali Hadi Abd, a second-year student in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Industries at the College of Engineering, Al-Mustaqbal University, transformed his private shop into a platform for community awareness and the promotion of Al-Mustaqbal University. Through this initiative, the student distributed awareness brochures to customers and local residents, encouraging them to avoid littering in public streets and to contribute to maintaining a clean and healthy environment. The initiative reflects the commitment of Al-Mustaqbal University students to developing simple yet effective ideas that extend their educational mission beyond the classroom. It also contributes to introducing the university, its academic departments, and its role in promoting a culture of responsibility and community service, while highlighting the positive engagement of College of Engineering students in their daily surroundings. This initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) and SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production).
