Al-Mustaqbal University Launches the 11th International Scientific Conference on Arab Women’s Sports with Extensive Research Participation Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, the 11th International Scientific Conference on Arab Women’s Sports commenced at the university. The event brought together researchers and academics from various Iraqi and Arab universities to discuss the latest scientific and technological developments in the field of women’s sports, as well as the role of sports in promoting health, empowerment, and sustainable development. Speaking on behalf of the university administration, Prof. Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, emphasized that the conference serves as a scientific platform for exchanging expertise and ideas, advancing athletic practices, and fostering academic and research collaboration. These efforts aim to enhance the physical and mental well-being of women and keep pace with contemporary scientific advancements. Al-Zuhairi noted that the conference’s scientific committee received 389 research papers, 264 of which were accepted. These papers covered a diverse range of topics, including modern techniques in complementary and alternative medicine, sustainable health for women, the application of biotechnology and digital tools in sports, mental and hormonal health, and sports education—reflecting the broad scope of scientific inquiry within this field. The opening session featured discussions on a number of distinguished scientific research papers, which presented modern insights and ideas for advancing women’s sports and enhancing health and training practices. The session was interspersed with artistic performances that added a unique atmosphere to the proceedings, reflecting an integration of scientific inquiry with cultural and artistic elements. The university leadership emphasized the importance of developing actionable scientific recommendations—proposals that can contribute to the advancement of health and sports programs, foster collaborative research, leverage modern technologies, and translate research findings into practical, community-oriented initiatives. This aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly those concerning good health and well-being, quality education, gender equality, innovation, and the strengthening of partnerships. The hosting of this conference underscores Future University’s commitment to supporting scientific research, promoting academic collaboration, and fostering specialized scientific forums. Such initiatives contribute to the empowerment of women, the development of the sports sector, and the role of knowledge and innovation in achieving sustainable development and serving society. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1Jpjico6NT/?mibextid=wwXIfr
