In its ongoing efforts to improve academic performance and enhance the quality of educational outcomes, the Aesthetic and Laser Techniques Department at Al-Mustaqbal University continues to implement short assessment quizzes as an effective educational tool for monitoring students’ academic progress, reinforcing scientific concepts, and evaluating their understanding of course materials. In this context, Assistant Lecturer Ola Salman Hamza conducted an assessment quiz for department students as part of the course Fundamentals and Techniques of Skin Care. The quiz focused on medicinal plants used in cosmetic products, aiming to assess students’ understanding of the scientific material and enhance their knowledge of the importance, properties, and applications of these plants in cosmetics and skincare. These assessments help students reinforce their knowledge and apply scientific information accurately. They also help identify areas of strength and aspects requiring further review, thereby supporting the development of students’ scientific and practical skills and preparing them for the requirements of the cosmetics and laser industry. This activity reflects the department’s commitment to developing teaching and assessment methods, encouraging continuous learning, and strengthening interaction between academic staff and students.
