As part of its efforts to expand international partnerships, Al-Mustaqbal University held a virtual meeting with Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) to explore opportunities for collaboration in developing postgraduate programmes and joint professional certificates. The meeting was attended by the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, along with academic officials, college deans, and department heads, as well as representatives of Virginia Commonwealth University and Dr. Hussein Al-Sheikh from the Iraqi Embassy's Cultural Attaché Office in Washington, D.C. Both sides discussed the potential development of master's programmes, the delivery of academic programmes at Al-Mustaqbal University, and the introduction of specialized training courses and professional certificates. They also examined the academic and administrative requirements necessary to implement these initiatives in accordance with recognized academic standards. This meeting reflects Al-Mustaqbal University's commitment to strengthening international academic cooperation, developing educational and training programmes, enhancing students' and graduates' competencies, and responding to labour market needs.
