The Department of Communications Engineering Technology at Al-Mustaqbal University enhanced the programming skills of second-year students through a practical lecture on Visual Basic, held on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, under the guidance and supervision of Assistant Lecturer Abbas Yaseen. The lecture included hands-on training in the Visual Studio 2022 development environment, covering the creation of a new project using Windows Forms App, user interface design, and the addition of essential tools such as Label, TextBox, ComboBox, and ListBox, as well as configuring their properties. Students also received practical training in saving and running programming projects in accordance with proper design standards. This lecture reflects the department’s commitment to developing students’ practical abilities and programming skills and preparing them for the requirements of the engineering and technology sectors. These efforts align with Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education, and Sustainable Development Goal 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure. Through these academic activities, Al-Mustaqbal University reaffirms its commitment to improving educational quality and strengthening practical learning across engineering disciplines, maintaining its position as the number one private university in Iraq.
