As part of its efforts to strengthen practical learning and bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and field applications, Lecturer Dr. Uday Hamza Hamoud conducted a workshop for second-year students in the Department of Civil Engineering at the College of Engineering, Al-Mustaqbal University. The workshop aimed to introduce students to the surveying tools and instruments used in civil engineering works. The workshop included an introduction to surveying instruments and equipment, explaining their operating principles and applications in field measurements, site positioning, and area measurement. It also provided students with an opportunity to examine these instruments firsthand and understand their importance in ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the implementation of engineering projects. This workshop is part of the Department of Civil Engineering’s ongoing efforts to develop students’ practical skills, enhance their field experience, and prepare them for professional careers in line with scientific and practical advancements in the field of civil engineering.
