To bridge theoretical knowledge with practical application and expand students' scientific horizons, the Department of Fuel and Energy Engineering Technologies organized a field visit to the Energy Research Center on October 12, 2026, under the supervision of lecturer Ali Yaseen Kazim. During the visit, students attended an introductory and practical lecture delivered by specialized experts at the center. The session covered the operational mechanisms of advanced laboratory equipment, methodologies for conducting cutting-edge scientific research, and practical strategies for employing these technologies in sustainable energy solutions, thereby solidifying core engineering concepts in the students' minds. This initiative serves as a practical contribution toward Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by offering a comprehensive learning environment that combines academia with field experience, as well as Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) by strengthening awareness around applied research and modern technologies. The students demonstrated remarkable engagement and enthusiasm during the interactive session, highlighting the value of such field visits in enhancing their technical expertise and preparing them for the demands of the energy job market. This effort reflects the department and university's commitment to delivering high-quality education rooted in hands-on experience and innovation to prepare future-ready engineering leaders.
