As part of preparations to welcome new students for the upcoming academic year, Prof. Dr. Mahdi Abdul-Kadhim Abdul, Dean of the College of Agricultural Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Tahani Jawad Mohammed Ali, Associate Dean, conducted a field visit to the University's Central Registration Department on Monday, October 12, 2026. The visit aimed to review admission procedures and follow up on the registration process for graduates of secondary schools. During the visit, the Dean and Associate Dean met with a number of prospective students and their parents, providing them with an overview of the academic specializations offered by the College and their practical applications. They highlighted the opportunities these specializations provide for developing scientific and practical skills in agricultural and animal production, medicinal plants, and natural products. They also explained the importance of these fields in keeping pace with modern scientific developments and preparing qualified professionals to meet labor market needs. In addition, they clarified the admission requirements and minimum application average, which is set at 50% for both morning and evening study programs. The delegation also followed up on the verification of official documents and the accuracy of applicants' information. Furthermore, they reviewed the procedures adopted by the Central Registration Department in coordination with the relevant officials and staff, with the aim of facilitating student transactions and ensuring a smooth registration process, thereby improving the administrative services provided to students and their parents. This visit reflects the College of Agricultural Technologies' commitment to following up on student affairs from the initial admission stages and providing the necessary academic guidance to introduce prospective students to the available specializations and their future prospects.
