Accounting Department Organizes an Awareness Workshop on Women’s Rights and Their Role in Achieving Social Justice As part of its efforts to raise awareness of societal issues and promote the principles of justice and equality, the Accounting Department at the College of Administrative Sciences, Al-Mustaqbal University, organized an awareness workshop entitled “Women’s Rights and Their Role in Achieving Social Justice.” The workshop was delivered by Asst. Lecturer Maryam Jassim Mohammed on Sunday, October 10, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. in Room CJ 406. The workshop addressed the importance of women’s rights and their role in building a society founded on justice and equal opportunities. It also highlighted the need to raise community awareness of women’s rights, promote a culture of respect for women, and ensure their active participation in various areas of life, thereby contributing to social justice and sustainable development. This workshop aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 5: Gender Equality, by raising awareness of women’s rights and their role in achieving social justice and building a fairer and more inclusive society.
