Al-Mustaqbal University made a prominent strategic appearance at the heart of the international cultural and creative scene through its role as a Golden Sponsor and active participant in the 13th Babylon International Festival of Cultures and Arts. The festival commenced in the ancient city of Babylon under the slogan “We Are All Babylonians,” in the presence of a local government delegation and a distinguished gathering of leading Iraqi, Arab, and international artists, writers, and intellectuals. The University’s participation highlighted the connection between academic excellence and Babylon’s profound civilisational heritage. The Al-Mustaqbal University pavilion, located within the International Book Fair—one of the festival’s key events, running until 16 October—attracted considerable interest and a large number of visitors, including academic figures and cultural enthusiasts. Visitors explored the University’s latest publications, intellectual contributions, and distinguished research achievements. The festival’s programme features a diverse range of interactive activities, including art exhibitions, poetry readings, intellectual seminars, musical, theatrical, and cinematic performances, as well as cross-cultural folkloric events. These activities aim to reaffirm Babylon’s historic status as a global platform for human interaction and cultural exchange, while fostering sustainable partnerships that connect academic institutions with cultural production and social responsibility. Al-Mustaqbal University’s participation reflects its comprehensive commitment to academic and cultural leadership, reinforcing its position as Iraq’s leading private university.
