The Rapporteur of the Department of biology at Al-Mustaqbal University, Lecturer Jaafar Hamed Jaafar, held a meeting with students on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, to explain how the Student Information System (SIS) operates in relation to attendance and absence recording and to clarify the approved procedures for monitoring students’ attendance. The meeting aimed to familiarize students with the electronic system’s attendance and absence recording procedures and highlight the importance of reviewing their records and ensuring their accuracy, thereby promoting attendance compliance and the regularity of the educational process. The meeting included an explanation of the system’s operation and responses to students’ inquiries regarding attendance and absence registration. It also emphasized the importance of complying with university regulations and regularly monitoring attendance records. This meeting comes as part of the Department of Life Sciences at Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to familiarizing students with approved electronic systems, strengthening communication with them, and following up on their academic and administrative affairs.
