The College of Engineering and Technical Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University enhanced students’ practical skills on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 10:00 AM, by organizing an interactive hands-on laboratory session as part of the Protocols course. The session was delivered by programmer and lecturer Amal Abbas Obaid in the laboratory of the College of Engineering and Technical Technologies. The session included an explanation of Cisco Packet Tracer and its use in designing and simulating computer networks. It also covered the steps involved in connecting devices, configuring networks, and applying fundamental networking concepts in practice. Students actively participated in creating networks using the software, helping them develop their technical skills, connect theoretical knowledge with practical applications, and gain experience working with network simulation environments. This session is part of the College of Engineering and Technical Technologies’ ongoing efforts to develop practical teaching methods and strengthen students’ competencies in computer networking and information technology. These efforts support students’ readiness for labor market requirements and align with Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education and Sustainable Development Goal 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure. Al-Mustaqbal University reaffirms its commitment to continuously improving the educational environment and developing students’ scientific and technical skills, contributing to the preparation of qualified graduates capable of keeping pace with technological advancements.
