Al-Mustaqbal University Leads Iraqi Universities in Chemical Sciences and Secures Top Rankings in the Global URAP Subject Rankings Al-Mustaqbal University has achieved a distinguished academic and research standing in the 2025–2026 URAP (University Ranking by Academic Performance) global subject rankings. Securing advanced positions within Iraq, this achievement reflects the university's growing presence in academic performance and scientific research indicators, as well as the strengthening of its status in global rankings. The university ranked first in Iraq in Chemical Sciences (placing 1161st globally). It also secured second place in Iraq across four disciplines: Energy and Fuel Engineering (500th globally), Mechanical Engineering (744th globally), Chemical Engineering (752nd globally), and Materials Engineering (967th globally). Furthermore, the university ranked third in Iraq in Technology (1214th globally) and Engineering (987th globally), while ranking fourth in Iraq in Medical and Health Sciences (1784th globally). These results underscore Al-Mustaqbal University's prominent standing across various scientific, engineering, and medical fields. They reflect the university's ongoing efforts to support scientific research, enhance the quality of academic publishing, and develop scientific and applied disciplines—all in alignment with its strategic goal of meeting global standards for academic competitiveness. On this occasion, the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, congratulated the university’s faculty, staff, and students on this significant achievement.
