The Dean of the College of Engineering, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Shakir Majdi, participated in an expanded meeting chaired by the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi. The meeting was dedicated to reviewing ways to activate agreements and memoranda of understanding signed with local and international universities and academic institutions. The meeting was also attended by the Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, Professor Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi; the Dean of the College of Engineering Technologies, Professor Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abdul; and several directors of relevant university departments and centers. Discussions focused on turning formal agreements into effective cooperation programs and projects. These initiatives aim to strengthen collaboration in scientific research, expertise exchange, training, academic mobility, and the development of joint programs and projects. During the meeting, President Hassan Shakir Majdi emphasized the importance of making the best use of these agreements and translating them into practical initiatives with a tangible impact on the academic and research environment, while enhancing the University’s local and international presence. The Dean’s participation reflects the College of Engineering’s commitment to expanding its academic and research partnerships and making use of local and international collaborations to develop its engineering programs, support scientific research, and create further opportunities for exchange and cooperation with reputable universities and academic institutions.
