Discussing Mechanisms for Advancing Scientific Output and Following Up on the Research Plan with the Participation of the Aviation Technology Engineering Department

As part of ongoing efforts to follow up on scientific and research activities at the College of Engineering Technology, the Aviation Technology Engineering Department participated in a meeting dedicated to reviewing the research plan for the academic year 2026–2027, discussing scientific publication indicators and research achievement rates, and clarifying the key guidelines and requirements related to research documentation and follow-up. The Aviation Technology Engineering Department participated in the meeting of the research plan committee members, held on Wednesday morning, October 7, 2026, at the Engineering Technology Building. The meeting was attended by Lect. Dr. Mohammed Maytham and Assist. Lect. Naba Thamer and focused on discussing and following up on the research plans of the academic departments for the 2026–2027 academic year. During the meeting, a prepared report on the research plan was presented and discussed with the members. The report included data and statistics related to research activities, scientific output, publication indicators, and the number of published research papers, with the aim of monitoring the research progress of the departments and faculty members. The meeting also addressed a range of guidelines and requirements concerning the updating of the research plan, monitoring research completion rates, completing the required information for published research, and documenting details of journals and conferences and their classifications within Scopus, in addition to identifying the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) associated with published research. Emphasis was also placed on providing accurate and active electronic links to published research, maintaining monthly documentation and submission, and continuously following up on observations and required amendments. These measures aim to enhance data accuracy and contribute to improving the quality and level of scientific output. The participation of the Aviation Technology Engineering Department in the meeting reflects its commitment to following up on research plan requirements and adhering to scientific and academic guidelines, contributing to the development of research activities and enhancing the quality of scientific output within the department. #Al_Mustaqbal_University_First_Among_Private_Universities_in_Iraq
