Dr. Noor Abdul Kareem Mohammed Ali, a lecturer in the Department of Cybersecurity Engineering, delivered an interactive online awareness workshop on Monday, October 5, 2026, titled “Data Protection and Safe Internet Browsing.” The workshop was held as part of the activities of IEEE WIE Iraq Section, in which she is a member. The workshop addressed key methods for protecting personal data, identifying and combating phishing and online fraud, and securing devices and accounts against common cyber threats. It aimed to enhance awareness of cybersecurity risks and promote safe practices in the use of technology and the Internet. This participation reflects the active engagement of lecturers from the Department of Cybersecurity Engineering in scientific and awareness-raising activities, as well as their contribution to promoting a culture of digital security.
