Al-Mustaqbal University’s Engineering Technical College organized a ceremony today, Monday, October 5, 2026, to honor the top-performing students for the 2025–2026 academic year as part of the first group. The ceremony was held in the Student Activities Hall in the Engineering Building, in the presence of the Dean of the Engineering Technical College, Prof. Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abdul, along with a number of faculty members and students. The first group of honorees included top-performing students from the Power Mechanical Engineering Techniques, Aircraft Engineering Techniques, and Communications Engineering Techniques Departments, in recognition of their academic excellence and outstanding performance, and in encouragement of their continued pursuit of academic achievement. The ceremony featured several scientific activities, including an electronic presentation delivered by Dr. Silwan on the feasibility of students’ projects, highlighting the importance of student projects in strengthening practical skills and connecting academic knowledge with practical applications and labor-market needs. The ceremony also featured an electronic presentation by Dr. Mohammed Maytham on the relevance and feasibility of a number of his research studies, highlighting the importance of scientific research in advancing knowledge and providing scientific and technical solutions that contribute to serving society and supporting development. During the ceremony, the Dean of the Engineering Technical College, Prof. Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abdul, praised the outstanding academic performance achieved by the top students, commending their efforts in attaining academic excellence and emphasizing that their achievement is the result of hard work, perseverance, and a commitment to developing their scientific and intellectual capabilities. The Dean also urged the top students to continue their journey of excellence and to consider their achievement of top ranks as a motivation for further hard work and personal development, and to utilize their knowledge and skills in building their academic and professional futures. He emphasized the importance of continuous learning, research, and innovation, rather than being satisfied with their current achievements. The College affirmed that honoring top-performing students reflects its commitment to supporting academic excellence, encouraging students to achieve outstanding performance and engage in positive academic competition, while recognizing their efforts throughout their academic journey.
