The Department of Artificial Intelligence Engineering Technologies organized an awareness course entitled “The AI Revolution: From Idea to Application” on Sunday, October 4, 2026, in the Conference Hall at the Technical Engineering Building of Al-Mustaqbal University. The course targeted sixth preparatory students preparing to apply to universities and aimed to introduce them to artificial intelligence, its role in society, its importance in our daily lives, and the career opportunities available in the field of Artificial Intelligence Engineering Technologies. The lecture was delivered by the Head of the Department, Asst. Prof. Zahraa Hashim, who highlighted the importance of this specialization, its diverse applications, and its growing role in various aspects of life. The course aimed to enhance students’ scientific awareness and help them make informed decisions when choosing their future university specializations. This initiative supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, by promoting scientific knowledge and raising awareness of modern technological disciplines. It also reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to academic guidance and preparing students for future opportunities, as the first-ranked private university in Iraq.
