The Deanship of the College of Engineering Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University invited its students and teaching staff in the scientific departments to benefit from the opportunity to visit the International Information and Communications Technology Exhibition and Conference in Iraq (ITEX IRAQ 2026) and explore the latest technologies, digital solutions, and innovations in the fields of communications and information technology.
The invitation comes with the support and guidance of the Dean of the College of Engineering Technologies, as part of the College’s commitment to strengthening students’ practical and professional skills, connecting academic knowledge with modern technologies and labor market requirements, and providing them with opportunities to develop their technical capabilities.
The visit particularly includes students and teaching staff from relevant scientific departments, including:
Department of Artificial Intelligence Technologies Engineering
Department of Cybersecurity Technologies Engineering
Department of Communications Technologies Engineering
Department of Computer Technologies Engineering
Other departments interested in exploring modern engineering technologies and solutions
The ITEX IRAQ 2026 Exhibition and Conference is being held at the Baghdad International Fair – Hall 5, Booth D10-A, from September 30 to October 3, 2026.
The College is providing free round-trip transportation for students wishing to participate in the visit on Saturday, October 3, 2026. Each department may nominate 10 students accompanied by two teaching assistants or lecturers.

The participating departments are also requested to provide the names of the nominated students and accompanying staff members to complete the necessary administrative procedures and issue the relevant official order.
The visit represents an important educational opportunity for students to gain first-hand exposure to the latest technological developments, connect with specialized companies and institutions, learn about training and employment opportunities, and explore areas of innovation and entrepreneurship in the information and communications technology sector.
This initiative contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, through promoting practical learning and skills development; SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, by familiarizing students with labor market requirements and opportunities; and SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, by encouraging engagement with modern technologies and innovations.
