In line with the directives of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majid, aimed at expanding scientific and academic partnerships and strengthening the University’s presence at regional and international forums, an Al-Mustaqbal University delegation continues its visit to Amman, the capital of Jordan, to explore prospects for cooperation with a number of universities and academic institutions. The delegation included Professor Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, and Professor Dr. Tariq Jawad Kadhim, Director of the Scientific Affairs Department. The visit forms part of the University’s efforts to establish sustainable academic partnerships that open new avenues for scientific and research cooperation and knowledge and expertise exchange. As part of the visit, Al-Mustaqbal University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for Scientific and Academic Cooperation with Applied Science Private University in Jordan, with the aim of developing areas of mutual cooperation, exchanging expertise and knowledge, and supporting academic and research initiatives and projects, thereby contributing to enhancing the quality of education and scientific research at both institutions. The memorandum was signed on behalf of Applied Science Private University by Professor Dr. Samiha Jarrah, President of the University, and on behalf of Al-Mustaqbal University by Professor Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision. The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Haitham Abdullah Abu Khdeija, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Professor Dr. Wameed Hadi Talib, Director of the International Relations Office, along with a number of academic and administrative officials from both institutions. Prior to the signing ceremony, Professor Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi delivered a comprehensive presentation highlighting the academic and research journey of Al-Mustaqbal University, its most prominent achievements, its progress in international accreditations and rankings, as well as its future vision for expanding its partnership network and strengthening its engagement with universities and academic institutions worldwide. The Memorandum of Understanding establishes a framework for cooperation in scientific, academic, and research fields, including the exchange of expertise, students, and researchers; the organization of scientific activities and events; and support for joint initiatives and projects. These areas of cooperation are expected to provide high-quality academic and research opportunities and strengthen knowledge exchange between the two institutions. This step represents a continuation of Al-Mustaqbal University’s approach to building effective and sustainable academic partnerships and strengthening its academic presence at both regional and international levels.
