Students from the Aesthetic and Laser Techniques Department, accompanied by a number of faculty members, visited Imam Al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) Hospital in Babil Governorate on September 17, 2026, as part of a scientific visit and field training at the Burn Unit. The visit aimed to strengthen the practical application of the knowledge acquired by students during their academic studies. During the visit, the students observed a number of burn cases and learned about the treatment methods and approaches used in managing such cases. They also listened to explanations provided by the specialized medical staff regarding the cases and appropriate methods of care, while taking part in discussions of several cases to broaden their scientific and practical knowledge. The visit reflects the department’s commitment to connecting theoretical knowledge with practical application and enhancing students’ skills by providing them with field experience that supports their academic and professional development. The visit contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being and SDG 4: Quality Education, by supporting practical education and promoting awareness of healthcare practices.
