The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, received the Head of the Academics Syndicate in Babil Governorate, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Khafaji, at the university headquarters. The University President welcomed the distinguished guest, praising his continuous efforts to maintain communication with academic institutions across the governorate, particularly Al-Mustaqbal University. He also commended his efforts in advocating for the rights of academics and staff members of educational and academic institutions. For his part, the Head of the Academics Syndicate in Babil expressed his thanks and appreciation for the warm hospitality and gracious reception, praising Al-Mustaqbal University’s openness and cooperation with the Syndicate. He noted that this cooperation has been reflected in several practical steps in recent times, most notably the establishment of an office for the Academics Syndicate on the premises of Al-Mustaqbal University, as well as providing employment opportunities for university graduates and affiliates through the Syndicate’s platform. He also expressed his aspiration to further strengthen cooperation and communication between the Syndicate and the University during the coming period. As part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s support for the Academics Syndicate, the University President approved hosting the Syndicate’s Academic Conference (the Central Meeting of the Academics Syndicate) on the university campus next week. At the conclusion of the meeting, the University President urged academics and colleagues to take the initiative to join their professional syndicate and support its activities, describing it as the body that represents them and advocates for their rights.
