Professor Dr. Mehdi Abadi Manaa, Director of Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications at Al-Mustaqbal University, held a meeting with the Center’s staff on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, coinciding with the start of the new academic year, to discuss the Center’s upcoming work plan and identify the scientific and technical priorities for the next stage. At the beginning of the meeting, the Center Director welcomed the staff members and emphasized the importance of starting the new academic year with a spirit of institutional teamwork and cooperation, contributing to enhancing performance and developing the services and activities provided by the Center in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, scientific research, and training. The meeting addressed several key areas, including developing an integrated scientific and research plan for the academic year, activating applied Artificial Intelligence projects, encouraging the preparation and publication of scientific research, organizing workshops and training courses, and strengthening cooperation with the University’s colleges and academic departments. The meeting also discussed mechanisms for developing the Center’s ongoing technological projects and expanding the use of Artificial Intelligence technologies to address real-world challenges. In addition, the participants reviewed mechanisms for following up and documenting scientific activities and events, as well as enhancing the Center’s presence in initiatives and programs related to digital transformation and innovation. Professor Dr. Mehdi Abadi Manaa emphasized the importance of teamwork, accuracy, organization, and timely implementation, with a focus on developing high-quality initiatives that keep pace with the rapid advancements in Artificial Intelligence technologies and strengthen the Center’s scientific and practical role within and beyond the University. He also highlighted the importance of utilizing the new academic year to support students and researchers, develop the technical skills of the Center’s staff, establish innovative and applicable projects, and strengthen scientific and knowledge-based partnerships, in line with Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to supporting innovation and digital transformation. The meeting concluded with an emphasis on continuing teamwork and establishing a clear timetable for implementing the planned activities and projects, ensuring an effective start to the new academic year and contributing to the achievement of the Center’s scientific and technological objectives.
