The Dean of the College of Dentistry at Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Athraa Yahya Al-Hijazi, held a meeting with the College’s faculty members to discuss preparations for the commencement of the new academic year and review the key academic and administrative instructions and directives adopted for the 2026–2027 academic year. The meeting addressed the review of the academic curriculum and its distribution in accordance with the approved academic plans, with emphasis on organizing lectures and practical and clinical training to ensure the achievement of course learning objectives and integration between theoretical and practical components. The meeting also emphasized adherence to academic schedules and timetables, monitoring students’ attendance and engagement, and updating teaching methods in line with recent developments in dentistry. It also highlighted the importance of utilizing modern educational technologies and teaching tools to enhance the delivery of academic content. The Dean stressed the importance of cooperation and coordination among faculty members and the need to unify efforts to raise students’ academic standards. She also highlighted the importance of scientific research and academic activities, as well as strengthening a culture of quality and compliance with academic standards and program accreditation requirements. The meeting further discussed organizational aspects related to teaching clinics, laboratories, and clinical training, with the aim of providing an appropriate educational environment for students and ensuring optimal use of the College’s available resources. The meeting concluded by emphasizing continued teamwork and comprehensive preparation for the new academic year, supporting the College of Dentistry’s efforts to advance the educational process and prepare students with the scientific knowledge and clinical skills necessary to practice the profession with competence and professionalism.
