As part of a series of meetings held by the College of Engineering Technology at Al-Mustaqbal University in preparation for the launch of the 2026/2027 academic year, the College held a meeting with a number of its scientific departments to discuss and review their academic, scientific, and administrative plans for the new academic year. The meetings included the following departments: Department of Building and Construction Engineering Technologies Department of Artificial Intelligence Engineering Technologies Department of Communications Engineering Technologies Department of Cybersecurity Engineering Technologies The departments presented their plans for the new academic year, covering teaching preparations, the distribution of courses and academic staff, research and scientific plans, student activities, training and professional development programs, as well as mechanisms for improving the quality of education and strengthening the practical and applied aspects of students’ learning. The Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Azhar Mohsen, emphasized the importance of ensuring that departmental plans are clear, measurable, and achievable, with defined performance indicators and targeted outcomes. This, he noted, would contribute to enhancing academic and administrative performance and advancing the quality of the educational process. These meetings are part of the College’s plan to prepare its scientific departments and ensure that all necessary requirements are in place ahead of the new academic year. They also aim to strengthen institutional collaboration and continuous coordination between the College Dean’s Office and the academic departments, supporting the ongoing pursuit of excellence and innovation at the College of Engineering Technology.
