Al-Mustaqbal University has achieved a major qualitative milestone, adding to its record of academic and environmental successes, after advancing to 148th globally in the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings for Sustainable Universities for 2026. This achievement consolidates the university's leading position locally and internationally, as reflected in the following figures and indicators: First Place: Among private universities and colleges in Iraq. Third Place: Among all Iraqi universities (public and private). 82nd Place: Across the Asian continent. Total Score: 8,475 points. International Scope: Ranked within a competition comprising 2,016 universities from 110 countries worldwide. This advancement and distinction come as a result of Al-Mustaqbal University's firm commitment to sustainable development programs and initiatives, focusing on the main criteria of the ranking, which include: site and infrastructure, energy and climate change, waste management, water resources, sustainable transportation, and education and research, alongside governance and digital transformation.
