Al-Mustaqbal University has ranked first among Iraqi private universities and third among all Iraqi public and private universities, according to the results of the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2026. This new achievement reflects the University’s growing leadership in the field of university sustainability. This advancement embodies the University’s ongoing efforts to establish and implement sustainability principles across academic, administrative, and environmental fields, while developing initiatives and practices that contribute to creating a smart and sustainable university environment, in line with its vision and motto, “Towards a Sustainable University.” On this occasion, the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, congratulated the University’s faculty members, staff, and students on this achievement, commending their continued efforts and dedication in supporting the University’s progress. He emphasized that this advancement is the outcome of collective institutional work, integrated efforts, and a strong spirit of teamwork.
