Al-Mustaqbal University has achieved a new milestone in the field of university sustainability, ranking first among private universities in Iraq and third among all Iraqi public and private universities, according to the results of the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2026. This achievement reflects the University’s continued efforts to promote and implement sustainability principles across its academic, administrative, and environmental activities, while advancing the development of a smart and sustainable campus in line with its vision and slogan, “Towards a Sustainable University.” The achievement highlights Al-Mustaqbal University’s ongoing commitment to sustainability through initiatives and practices aimed at improving resource efficiency, enhancing the university environment, encouraging innovation and sustainable solutions, and strengthening sustainability awareness among students, academic staff, and administrative personnel. On this occasion, Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, congratulated the University’s faculty members, staff, and students on this distinguished achievement.
