The Vice Dean of the College of Arts and Humanities, Assistant Professor Dr. Maitham Abd al-Khudar Jabbar, held a meeting on Tuesday, 22 September 2026, with the heads of the scientific departments in the college to discuss preparations for the launch of the new academic year 2026–2027 and to follow up on the measures necessary to ensure the academic year begins in an organized and smooth manner. The meeting addressed a number of topics related to academic and administrative preparation, the organization of class schedules, and following up on the needs of the scientific departments, in addition to emphasizing the preparation of a suitable educational environment for students and teaching staff at the start of the academic year. The meeting also discussed mechanisms of coordination and follow-up between the departments and the college, in a way that contributes to the regularity of the educational process and the fulfillment of the requirements of the new academic year in accordance with the approved timings and instructions. The Vice Dean stressed the importance of integrated efforts between the college deanery and the heads of departments, and of continuing field and administrative follow-up to ensure an effective and organized start to the academic year 2026–2027.
