Faculty Member of the Accounting Department at Al-Mustaqbal University Participates with Two Research Papers in an International Conference in Azerbaijan Lecturer Dr. Ali Mohammed Hussein Al-Fartousi, a faculty member in the Department of Accounting at the College of Administrative Sciences, Al-Mustaqbal University, participated in the activities of the Third International Conference, entitled: “Knowledge Integration between Applied and Human Sciences for Sustainable Development and Addressing the Challenges of Digital Transformation,” held at Baku Eurasian University – Republic of Azerbaijan, from September 21–23, 2026, with the participation of a number of universities and academic institutions. Dr. Ali Mohammed Hussein Al-Fartousi participated in the conference with **two scientific research papers** addressing several contemporary issues in the banking and accounting sectors. The first research paper was entitled: **“The Impact of Digital Transformation of Accounting Systems on Enhancing Financial Inclusion: An Applied Study at the International Development Bank,”** while the second research paper was entitled: **“The Impact of Using Electronic Payment Methods on Operating Costs and the Quality of Banking Services in the Iraqi Banking Sector: An Exploratory Study at Al-Rasheed Bank / Najaf Branch.”** This scientific participation reflects the **Department of Accounting at the College of Administrative Sciences, Al-Mustaqbal University’s** interest in keeping pace with recent developments in the fields of digital transformation, accounting systems, financial inclusion, and electronic banking services. It also contributes to supporting scientific research, enhancing the presence of the department’s faculty members at international academic conferences and forums, and exchanging expertise and knowledge with researchers and academic institutions.
