Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, conducted a field inspection tour across the university campus on Monday, September 21, 2026, coinciding with the start of the new academic year 2026–2027, to follow up on the regularity of the educational process and assess the level of academic and administrative preparations across the university’s colleges and scientific departments. The tour included a visit to the College of Education in the Humanities Building, where the University President met with the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Rawdan Salman, along with a number of teaching, academic, and administrative staff. He reviewed firsthand the progress of the educational process, the regularity of lectures, and the readiness of classrooms, laboratories, and educational facilities to receive students. During the tour and meetings, Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi emphasized the importance of providing an appropriate educational environment for students, adhering to the announced academic timetable, and ensuring the regular attendance of students and teaching staff in classrooms and laboratories from the first day, thereby contributing to an organized start to the new academic year. The University President also discussed several key issues related to academic work, foremost among them the expedited completion of the second-round examination results. He called upon examination committees and teaching staff to complete the requirements for announcing the results and to ensure their accurate review and verification. He also emphasized the importance of daily monitoring of student attendance and adherence to the ministerial instructions and regulations governing academic attendance. He further stressed the importance of continuing to develop academic and educational performance, preserving the achievements attained by the university, advancing students’ academic standards, and strengthening coordination among college administrations and teaching and administrative staff in order to support the quality of the educational process. The tour comes as part of the Presidency of Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to direct field follow-up of the start of the academic year, identifying the needs of the colleges and addressing any challenges that may affect the educational process, thereby ensuring an organized and suitable university environment for students and teaching staff.
