As the new academic year 2026–2027 gets underway, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, conducted a field tour of several colleges and academic departments to follow up on the regularity of attendance, the progress of lectures, and the level of academic and educational preparedness. During the tour, the University President met with several college deans, department heads, and members of the teaching, academic, and administrative staff. He emphasized the importance of adhering to the approved academic schedule, ensuring the regular delivery of lectures in classrooms and laboratories, and providing an appropriate educational environment that supports students and advances the objectives of the educational process. His directives also addressed the need to expedite the completion of the review and announcement of the second-round examination results, maintain daily follow-up of student attendance in accordance with the applicable ministerial regulations and instructions, and continue enhancing academic performance and the quality of education and its outcomes. Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi further emphasized the importance of preserving the University’s academic achievements and continuing to develop institutional and scientific performance in a manner that strengthens Al-Mustaqbal University’s academic standing and educational mission. At the conclusion of the tour, the University President commended the efforts of the academic and administrative staff, expressing his confidence in their role in ensuring a successful academic year and wishing all faculty members and students a year filled with excellence, success, and achievement.
