Ministry of Higher Education Announces the Launch of the First Step of Unified University Admission The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has announced the launch of the first step in the unified university admission process, which includes **creating an account and verifying personal data**, starting Monday, **September 21, 2026**. The Ministry called on students applying for unified university admission for the academic year **2026–2027**, including graduates of preparatory schools, vocational education, Islamic studies, and other categories of students who do not have login credentials for the **Qudum Platform**, to access the application and select the option **“I do not have login information”** in order to create an account and complete any missing information. The Ministry explained that these procedures will allow students to **book an electronic appointment** to visit the verification and authentication centers at government universities near their places of residence. These centers will verify their accounts and personal information in preparation for applying through the unified university admission channels once they are officially launched. The Ministry further stated that the verification and authentication centers include government universities located near students’ places of residence, including universities in **Baghdad, Al-Mustansiriyah, Al-Nahrain, Basra, Mosul, Dhi Qar, Maysan, Wasit, Al-Muthanna, Kufa, Al-Qadisiyah, Babylon, Karbala, Al-Anbar, Diyala, Tikrit, and Kirkuk**, where students can have their accounts and data verified and authenticated.
