Preparatory meetings continued at the College of Engineering Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University in preparation for the commencement of the 2026/2027 academic year. The Dean of the College of Engineering Technologies, Prof. Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abd, held a series of meetings on Monday, September 21, 2026, with the heads of the scientific departments, faculty members, and relevant staff at the Conference Hall in the Engineering Building at 9:30 a.m. The meetings included the Department of Computer Engineering, the Department of Medical Devices Engineering, and the Department of Electrical Engineering. Discussions focused on the academic and administrative readiness of the departments, including the distribution of courses and timetables, provision of teaching staff, preparation of laboratories and classrooms, as well as academic and annual plans and the requirements of the educational process. The meetings also addressed ways to strengthen students’ practical and applied skills, develop academic programs in line with the requirements of engineering disciplines and the labor market, support scientific, research, and training activities, and monitor performance indicators and teaching quality. The Dean of the College of Engineering Technologies, Prof. Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abd, emphasized the importance of continued coordination and follow-up among the scientific departments, teamwork, and addressing requirements and challenges at an early stage to ensure an organized and effective start to the new academic year and contribute to developing students’ skills and improving the college’s educational outcomes. These meetings are held in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 on Quality Education and SDG 9 on Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, supporting the university’s efforts to develop the educational environment and enhance the quality of education, training, and scientific research.
