The Dean of the Technical Engineering College held an expanded meeting with members of the teaching staff and administrative personnel from the Departments of Power Mechanical Engineering Technologies, Fuel and Energy Engineering Technologies, and Aviation Engineering Technologies on Sunday, September 20, 2026, in the Conference Hall of the Engineering Building. The meeting was held as part of comprehensive preparations for the launch of the new academic year and to enhance academic, administrative, and logistical readiness. The Dean opened the meeting with a welcoming speech, expressing his appreciation for the efforts made by the teaching and administrative staff and wishing everyone a successful academic year filled with dedication and academic excellence. The meeting included a review and discussion of the scientific and academic plans prepared by the relevant departments for the new academic year, as well as discussions on mechanisms for developing the educational environment and updating curricula in line with the latest technological developments and modern engineering advancements. The Dean emphasized the importance of improving the quality of technical education, updating scientific content and practical training, enhancing educational and professional outcomes, organizing administrative and service activities, and providing continuous support to students and teaching staff, contributing to the achievement of the College’s objectives and its educational and research mission. The meeting aligns with academic quality standards and institutional development, supports an advanced educational environment, enhances human resource efficiency, and connects educational outcomes with labor market needs. It also supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, and SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure. Al-Mustaqbal University is the first among private universities in Iraq, and continues to support its educational and academic orientations in ways that enhance the quality of education, innovation, and sustainable development. At the conclusion of the meeting, members of the teaching and administrative staff were given the opportunity to present their views and suggestions. They reaffirmed their commitment to achieving the College’s objectives and educational and research mission, while enhancing the quality of the educational process throughout the new academic year.
