Met Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majid, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, with the students who participated in the training program hosted by the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) in the United Kingdom. The meeting was held at the Presidency Building of Al-Mustaqbal University, in the presence of several academic officials and professors supervising the program.
The University President praised the students’ efforts and discipline throughout the training period, emphasizing that their participation reflected a distinguished image of the university and contributed to developing their scientific and professional skills and enhancing their readiness for the labor market. This aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
Professor Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, explained that the program represents a valuable experience within the university’s efforts to strengthen international academic cooperation and provide students with advanced training opportunities. Professor Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abd, Dean of the College of Engineering Technologies, also emphasized the importance of students making effective use of the knowledge and experience they gained and sharing it with their peers.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Samir Badrawi, Director of the Cultural Relations Department, along with several faculty members who accompanied the students. The participants reviewed the major stages and outcomes of the program and discussed the importance of utilizing the acquired experience to develop the students’ academic and professional paths.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majid honored the participating students by presenting them with certificates of appreciation, in recognition of their commitment, active participation, and distinguished representation of the university.
The meeting reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to supporting its students, expanding their international educational and training opportunities, and strengthening academic partnerships in a way that contributes to preparing qualified graduates capable of meeting labor market requirements.
