As part of its commitment to strengthening applied education and connecting academic knowledge with practical experience, Al-Mustaqbal University continues to implement scientific and field-based projects that contribute to developing students’ skills and enhancing their practical expertise in line with future requirements.
The University recently organized a specialized scientific and practical activity focused on the breeding and rearing of carp fish, in cooperation between the Department of Diwan Affairs and the College of Agricultural Technologies / Department of Animal Production. The initiative aimed to strengthen the practical dimension of aquaculture and provide an educational environment that enables students to transform theoretical knowledge into real-world practical experience.
The activity included a range of scientific practices and procedures, including preparing fish ponds, monitoring water quality, managing feeding programs, and measuring environmental indicators, contributing to the provision of suitable conditions for fish growth and supporting the principles of sustainable aquaculture.
This initiative reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to developing educational projects that integrate applied education, food security, sustainability, and innovation, while strengthening the University’s role in serving the community and supporting scientific solutions related to the agricultural and animal production sectors.
Through such projects, the University reaffirms its vision that university education extends beyond the classroom into the field, providing students with opportunities to gain practical experience and develop their scientific and professional skills.
