The Website Officer of the College of Engineering Technologies, along with the members of the College Quality Assurance Committee, participated today, Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 8:00 a.m., in an electronic workshop organized by the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance, in accordance with the directives of the University Presidency. The workshop was attended by the Central Quality Assurance Officer and quality assurance members from all colleges. The workshop provided a detailed explanation of the procedures for uploading the academic description for the 2025–2026 academic year to the website and uploading its related files. It also introduced the new platform added to the website and explained how to properly complete the forms and upload the required files. The workshop aimed to unify the procedures for documenting and uploading academic descriptions electronically in a manner that contributes to enhancing the academic performance of colleges, improving the quality of educational programs, and supporting continuous improvement in accordance with quality assurance and academic accreditation standards. It also sought to enhance the efficiency of using the electronic platform and facilitate the updating of academic data and files. The workshop forms part of ongoing efforts to develop quality assurance systems and digital transformation, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure.
